The Parish Council recognises the valuable work carried out by local groups and organisations and, where appropriate, provides financial support through donations and grants. This support helps groups to continue providing activities, services and opportunities for the community, while strengthening community spirit and encouraging local participation.

The Council welcomes applications from eligible local groups and organisations seeking financial assistance towards projects, activities or community initiatives that benefit the people of Sacriston. Each request is considered by the Parish Council in accordance with its agreed policies and available funds.

If you would like to apply for a grant from the parish council, please read the Council’s Grant Policy and complete the Grant Application Form and return along with your supporting documentation to the clerk@sacristonparishcouncil.gov.uk .
